Three words: Jerusalem Meat Festival. One more word: today.
I know this not because I am on some sort of carnivore's listserve, or because I'm a vegetarian activist. I know this thanks to Jerusalem's newest online events guide, JerusalemBlueprint.com, founded by Miriam Eljas, who achieved so much with NYBlueprint.com that it's now an international franchise.
If you're interested in consuming at the Meat Festival, you'd better hurry. Jerusalem is known for its vast population of ravenous yeshiva boys, and it's already 6pm in Israel (the festival lasts until 10pm). NIS 125 gets you 8 types of meat, eat as much as you can. Meals also include salads, antipasti, bread, and side dishes." It's at Nuna (30 Rehov Aza).
