I love a good Israeli TV commercial. Because really, they're all good.
I think the only reason the religious community hasn't reacted to this commercial is because, well, they may not have TVs.
With a hat tip to Brad Greenberg's God Blog over at the Jewish Journal, this commercial made me remember the first Israeli commercial I fell in love with...the Goldstar commercial with all the sweaty men running and then showering together as the voiceover said: "Goldstar....birah shel GEVER..." ("Goldstar: A man's beer...") Well, that one's not available on YouTube, but this one is.
So that's the moral of the story: No Coke, Goldstar.
Now, if I could only understand Hebrew better, the video would probably be even funnier!

YES was actually forced to pull the ad after pressure from religious groups. Someone's got a TV...

I knew my broken Yiddish and broken Hebrew would come in handy someday. I was able to get the whole thing, and I couldn't stop cracking up. I mean they really got the body language and facial expressions down. Oh my G-d, that is great. thanks!
