Looks like a lot of fun & our Forest Service could use a few more good Jews! Cheers & Good Luck, 'VJ'

This Foreign Friend misses all that Zionistic ecological activity...not to mention all those beautiful people!

Esther, I hope you make it to Ne'ot Kedumim, near Modi'in. It is a beautiful recreation of Biblical flora and fauna. A cousin (well, a cousin of a cousin) of mine used to run the place.

I think it is great that you are helping in conservation and reforestation efforts. One of the great untold stories over there is how the Israelis (even with their imperfect environmental record) have done so much to plant trees and develop water-saving technologies. It should be also noted that many of those terrorists deliberately engage in environmental destruction. Thanks for everything you are doing.

VJ, So are you saying that private conservation is better than government efforts? ;) (Sorry, couldn't resist).

Inch by inch, row by row
Gonna make this garden grow
All it takes is a rake and a hoe
And a piece of fertile ground.

Inch by inch, row by row
Someone bless these seeds I sow,
Someone keep it warm below
'Til the rain comes tumbling down.
