As a caring, thinking Clinical Psychologist from Deep East Texas who is a lifelong deeply committed Christian, I found "Keeping Up With the Steins" to be touching, funny, and tender. So what if it's not exactly a precise portrait of a bar mitzvah?

What Hollywood production has ever portrayed Texas, the South, or Christianity accurately or as tenderly as this movie does this Jewish rite of passage?

I loved this movie, and by the way, Benji doesn't complain to the Rabbi, Irwin does. I would encourage you to pay attention instead of just trying to be acerbic and clever because your review reflected neither attentiveness not wit. Dr. Debra M. Stewart, Tyler, TX
