It'll take persistence, diligence, perseverance, synergy, better connections, better communications, and a willingness to think and to see things anew. All new enterprises start with such questions and unwillingness to change. The new media landscape is being created before our eyes. It's definitely real, passionate, different, and filling a need and a niche. And everywhere it's being scorned and ignored by the 'mainstream', but it's still more important and more significant than its promoters suspect and its detractors fear. Without these new venues for communication, another whole generation would be almost be lost to each other as part of the larger community. There are people who know this, they're just not the big funders just yet. But it's a very conservative world (behaviorally) they typically travel in. News of this TV nonsense had just reached a few short decades years ago. As ever the champions of the new age will be unheralded, underappreciated, & underfunded (if Lucky!). Nothing worthwhile comes easy, and this is the tried and familiar path of most new technologies and media. It took awhile to make newspapers profitable and books before them too. Publishers would periodically go bankrupt with surprising frequency. Both Ben Franklin & Tom Paine would be intimately familiar with this reality, then and now.

So know that we can hear you, and we appreciate what you do and how you're trying to add more and different voices to the usual media mix. Innovation consists in discovering and then trying new things and avenues of inquiry. You don't get there by standing still or being satisfied with the existing relationships. Cheers & Good Luck! a curioius note just how exactlydoes a blog become known. I am not interested in habing one but there are a few bery special ones which refer to each other.abd there are others that are great too byr unreferred to unheard of. How do you decide to get into this and how do you promote it? Why urban kvetch and not kvell? I also like oleh girl about aliya. Americans in israel vlogs and blogs are my best..

James Fletcher Baxter

Human is earth's Choicemaker. His title describes
his definitive and typifying characteristic. Recall
that his other features are but vehicles of experi-
ence intent on the development of perceptive
awareness and the following acts of decision and
choice. Note that the products of man cannot define
him for they are the fruit of the discerning choice-
making process and include the cognition of self,
the utility of experience, the development of value-
measuring systems and language, and the accultur-
ation of civilization.

The arts and the sciences of man, as with his habits,
customs, and traditions, are the creative harvest of
his perceptive and selective powers. Creativity, the
creative process, is a choice-making process. His
articles, constructs, and commodities, however
marvelous to behold, deserve neither awe nor idol-
atry, for man, not his contrivance, is earth's own
highest expression of the creative process.

Human is earth's Choicemaker. The sublime and
significant act of choosing is, itself, the Archimedean
fulcrum upon which man levers and redirects the
forces of cause and effect to an elected level of qual-
ity and diversity. Further, it orients him toward a
natural environmental opportunity, freedom, and
bestows earth's title, The Choicemaker, on his
singular and plural brow.

Now I can finally view you as a peer, since Martin and Yossi called you out! ;)

"From the minute I arrive, it’s clear to me that I, like everyone else in the room, am here for a specific purpose, and that I belong."

Wow. Have I EVER felt like that?
