After Purim and a very difficult weekend due to a loss in the extended family that I'll write about when I'm ready, Jewlicious is imminent and now I'm on the road again...
Here's some stuff to keep you reading while I'm gone.
Making Matches in the Holy City (JW): A singles columnist in another country is still a singles columnist, in any language.
Dealing with Difference (JTA's new "Good for the Jews" blog): Halakhah, the mehitzah and the trichitzah...and beyond.
Finding Your Own Personal Jesus (Beliefnet's Idol Chatter): James Cameron and Simcha Jacobovici are at it again--plus I add selections from my own "canon of Jesus literature."
Love, Politics and Hummus: A Review of "West Bank Story" (Beliefnet's Idol Chatter)
And now if you'll excuse me, I have to go sit on my suitcase.
LA peeps, holla at me, wouldja?
Catch you after I magically transform into the LA version of me: "Esther with a car."

I ain't no holla-back girl. (And good heavens, do I hate that song.) But I can't wait to see you! Nesiah tovah and all that good stuff...

Esther, I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
The first article got me thinking. One extreme is the "pulse dating" (he's Jewish and has a pulse, so you get set up). Now you have the opposite extreme, paralysis by analysis? Surely there is a happier medium. And sorry I can't be of more help.
