Courtesy of the people at Jewcy, here's the requisite Jewish Harry Potter parody.
My ten-second review: This parody--which replaces Harry's legacy of wizardry with Kabbalah--is mercifully short, and at its most brilliant in the author's invention of funny and creative versions of character names. (I have an extremely low tolerance for poor parody, so forgive me if this seems harsh.)
Shining examples: Defense Against the Dark Schwartz, Voldybbuk, and my favorite sentence:
"That's Professor Dorledor," Harzione told Harry. "He's been the headmaster of Hogschwartz from generation to generation."
Now that's funny. And begs more discussion about Jewish influences in Harry Potter.
